Ellie finished her championship in
record time, with multiple Best of Breed wins and
Best Puppy in Group wins. She has gone on to multiple First in Group placements, as
well as multiple other Group wins. In 2009, she was the # 4 Ridgeback
in Canada, the # 2 Canadian Bred and the #2 Bitch
in Canada! In 2010, she was the #5 Ridgeback in Canada. She has wonderful movement and a
little
sparkle in her eye in the show ring. She is a fun, spunky girl
who just loves to be the centre of it all.
Ellie has been busy proving that Ridgebacks are very
versatile. In September, 2010, she became the first Ridgeback in CKC history to obtain a herding title! She has also been trialling in Rally O and obedience. And if that wasn't enough, in her first lure coursing trial, she won Best of Breed. She is training in agility and we hope to trial her soon.
She has also proved to be a wonderful brood bitch. Her first litter of puppies in June of 2011 was a litter of 11 beautiful, ridged pups who are growing up to be wonderful examples of the breed.
