“Thembi” is our first girl and is very eager to please. She has a very sweet disposition. She is also a
girl who knows what she wants. Thembi had limited showing but with many
group placements including Best Puppy in Specialty and a strong finish
to her Championship with two Group 2 placements. She also easily finished her RallyO title in one weekend. She has been a wonderful foundation bitch for us and a wonderful mother.
Not to be outdone by her daughter, Ellie,
Thembi has recently been out herding sheep. And low and
behold, she passed her Herding Instinct Test (HIC). She seemed to
have a great time and had a big smile on her face.
Thembi was starting to slip into the couch
potato routine only too well and since we know how important it is for
each dog to have their own activity, we found one very well suited to
our girl. She is now a St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dog.
She thoroughly enjoys her weekly visits at a local personal care
home and brightens the day of all those she visits.
She has recently been awarded the title of
Versatility Champion (VCH) by the Ridgeback Club of Canada.
